Gen 4 vs. Gen 3. We have added provisions for drop in shelves. Two slots towards the bottom of the frame allow you to slide in a drop in shelf. This shelf allows you to haul coolers, bait barrels hard panniers; basically, anything that needs structure to be supported. We think these are going to be awesome for baiting, ice fishing, hauling tree stands and other items that don't fit in the traditional panniers.
The other major update on the Gen 4 is the reinforced handlebars. The new structure adds significant strength to the bars and prevents tweaking that can occur with heavy loads. You can also now add accessories on the handle bar plate. GPS, Phone holders, Holsters, gun racks, first aid kits, can now be mounted to the bars.
Some mounting holes have been added and moved to add different accessories.
