Featuring reinforced handlebars, optimized attachment points, and enhanced adjustability, this rugged pack wheel is built for strength, stability, and convenience. Upgrade your hauling game and move your gear with unmatched efficiency. The double brake model provides quick access to a brake no matter where your hands are located and is a must have for extreme mountain hunting.
Emergency Kit Included with purchase includes a patch kit, tire levers, mini pump, mini tool, 10mm ratcheting wrench, and an extra master link for the chain.
Gen 4 enhancements include precision-cut slots for drop-in shelves, dedicated holes for mounting an external tie-down kit, and improved access to chain tension adjustment bolts—ensuring greater convenience and functionality.
Designed for seamless compatibility with Pack Wheel® Panniers, the Pack Wheel is loaded by laying it flat on the ground and securing the pannier to the frame. A cam lock strap runs behind the pannier, ensuring a firm hold, while heavy or awkward loads may require an additional horizontal strap for extra stability. Once one side is loaded, the Pack Wheel is flipped to repeat the process on the opposite side. Up righting the Pack Wheel is effortless, and once upright, it maintains excellent balance for easy maneuvering.
Use proper loading techniques for the Pack Wheel®. Keep the heaviest weight at the bottom, ensuring a low center of gravity for smooth handling. Top loads should be kept around 18lbs to ensure optimal balance. When hauling a quartered elk, use two sets of panniers, extending the loops of the second set to fit outside the first. Always position the heaviest weight closest to the frame and as low as possible for optimal control. We have years of experience hauling full quartered elk from the backcountry, we can confidently say that the Pack Wheel® makes transporting quartered big game animals effortlessly. Use a horizontal strap to increase load stability.
